About Dr. Bridges: Dr. Dawn Bridges is a nationally recognized thought leader dedicated to ensuring the success of every learner through innovative, future-focused leadership. With more than 30 years of experience in education and professional learning, she has served in a wide range of roles, including teacher, reading specialist, special education coordinator, principal, and assistant superintendent for teaching and learning. This breadth of experience provides her with a deep, systems-level understanding of how schools and districts function—and how they can evolve. Dr. Bridges currently serves as Associate Director of Professional Learning for the Illinois Association of School Administrators (IASA), and as Executive Director of Suburban School Superintendents (SSS). Through both roles, she partners closely with superintendents and leadership teams to cultivate resilient, learner-centered ecosystems that support equity, continuous improvement, and long-term impact.
